How can I lock and unlock my files using IBDrive?
Locking and Unlocking a file is recommended if you need to do collaborative editing of a single file. This helps in preventing unwanted write overs on files in modification by other parties. A locked file can’t be modified, deleted or renamed. However, it can be opened or copied. To lock a file using IBDrive: 1.Click or highlight on the file you wish to lock. 2.Right click on the file and select ‘IBDrive’. 3.Now select ‘Lock file’ from ‘IBDrive’which will lock your file. To unlock a file using IBDrive: 1.Click or highlight on the file you wish to unlock. 2.Right click on the file and select ‘IBDrive’. 3.Now select ‘UnLock file’ from ‘IBDrive’which unlocks your file.
