How can i litter train my 7 week old kitten?
First of all, don’t do the “put her nose in it” technique. It doesn’t help and often makes the situation worst. They don’t understand so they will just get afraid of the litter box and continue to go outside it. It increases their anxiety and thus makes litter training them even harder. Now that that’s out, time to get to the point. Its very hard to get an animal to stop going to the bathroom in a certain spot. Once their scent is in an area, they will continue to go there, and its hard to get that scent out of the floor (especially if its carpet). That’s why I was going to suggest putting the litter box where the spot is, but it seems you’ve already done that. That makes me believe that she may actually be having an anxiety problem, perhaps related to the litter box. Either that or something much worst: an actual health problem. Try changing the type of litter you use or maybe even changing the actual litter box altogether. If that doesn’t help, then try going to the vet and seeing if
