How can I limit my upload / download sessions in programs such as Bittorrents, Kazaa, Limewire, etc?
Most peer-to-peer programs will have a setting that will allow you to adjust the speed of your uploads and downloads. Some programs will allow you the option of not uploading files from your computer while with some programs such as Bittorrent you can reduce the rate of transfer for the files that you are uploading. It is important to keep in mind that your 6gb high speed limit includes both uploads and downloads. By limiting the rate in which you upload you can maximize your downloads. Often times most users do not realize that while they are downloading, they are uploading as well.
