How can I lighten (darken) the finger images the scanner is producing?
From the Options menu, select Scanner Defaults. On the Images tab, you will see a slider control that allows you to adjust the scanner brightness. We generally do not recommend changing this setting as it may adversely affect the overall image quality. Improper finger rolling technique and poor print quality should first be ruled out before changing this setting.
