Before using any hair color, we suggest you do your own research. Skin Deep is the most comprehensive and cross-referenced free on-line database we know. It contains more than 23,000 ingredients and formulas with the toxicity ratings of individual ingredients and brands, including more than 600 rated hair coloring brands. The bottom line is that you always have to look carefully at the ingredient statement. Run a search on Skin Deep on questionable ingredients. And, most importantly, do a 24 hours patch test before using any hair dye formula for the first time.
