LONDON COMMUNITY GOSPEL CHOIR The London Community Gospel Choir is London’s first black community choir. It was formed in 1982 with the aim of providing positive role models for young black people at a time of high racial tension in Great Britain. Within a short time the choir had established itself as one of the leading groups of its kind in Europe . Their repertoire ranges from gospel ‘classics’ to lighter, more modern material, and the choir is famed for its spirited and involved performances.
