Answer Dear Juan, You can find out if your Cockatiel is a male or female by a DNA test or seeing if your Cockatiel lays eggs. If your Cockatiel lays eggs that means your Cockatiel is a female. I would prefer you to see if your Cockatiel lays eggs because a DNA test is done by your Cockatiels vet and it is very expensive. There is really no way to make your Cockatiel eat fruit. What I do is pretend I am eating it and my Cockatiel will come over and eat it with me. Hope this helps!
