How can I know if Im truly baptised in the Holy Spirit?
The Holy Spirit is given to the Church specifically for service. The Lord has committed the work of evangelism (soul winning) and the bilding of His church unto His disciples and has therefore given the Holy Spirit to empower us; to help us do the work. Luke 24:47, 49 says “And that repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in His (Christ’s) name to all nations,… I am going to send you what (the Holy Spirit) my Father has promised; stay in the city until you have been endued or clothed with POWER from on high”. Again, according to Acts 1:8, Jesus said “You will receive POWER after the Holy Spirit has come on you and you will be my witnesses”. When you are truly baptised in the Holy Spirit, the enabling POWER will be the evidence of having received the baptism. At the point of baptism, you will be given utterance to speak in other tongues as an assurance that you have been baptised; but the mark of Holy Spirit baptism which will be evident to human beings and darkness world
