How can I keep the neighbors dog out of my front yard??
Don’t know how it works or why it works, but placing clear drink bottles full of water around the yard seems to deter dogs and cats from unwanted ‘actions’ on the garden. Looks great as garden decoration as well 😉 Another point – if talking to your neighbour about the problem does not work, there are also a variety of sprays or pellets that pet owners use around their gardens to deter their own pets from going to the toilet in the wrong spots.
I would step next door and kindly ask the neighbor to please keep their dog at home when he needs to do his business. If they give you a big hassle or are rude to you, the next time it happens, call animal control and tell their is a dog running at large and is harassing you and your family and messing up your lawn. That should get their attention.
