How can i keep pigeons away from my bird feeders?

Most feral pigeons do not get much to eat, and their ‘fat’ appearance is just their feathers. They fly a lot and are bigger, so they require more food. Not that they are pigs or purposely act like jerks, its just they do what they must to survive. There aren’t any feeders to my knowledge that will feed small wild birds but not pigeons. Except thistle seed feeders possibly, which will attract mainly finches. The best thing you can do is put up another feeder, take down the current one for a while (a week at least), and/or spray the pigeons with a water hose every time you see them land on the feeder.
