It’s irresponsible to own any pet without having at least one book! You didn’t mention what tarantula you have. They come from different countries. Most of the commonly kept ones in my area (NJ, USA) are basically humidity-loving south american rainforest-type creatures. You need to let us know the scientific name of the tarantula, if at all possible, because pet shops make up wacky names. I had someone bring me over to see their “Halloween Tarantula” and it was a red-knee, lol. Pet shops are so silly. It depends on what you have, really.
