This option is probably disable by default. The “Network ID” Button under Sytem properties/ Computer name is grayed out… It’s not possible. Microsoft specifically disabled the ability to join a domain with Media Center Addition. Further, you can’t even upgrade to XP Pro. You have to do a complete new install.
