How can I isolate uncharged target species (e.g. polysaccharides) from charged contaminants?
We recommend that your sample is passed through two different Membrane Adsorbers oppositely-charged ion exchange groups e.g. Sartobind S and Q. It is critical that you consider at this point the maximum binding capacities. The uncharged molecules will pass through both membranes and the final collected filtrate will contain no charged species.
