In Windows and Linux (when installed using the generic tar ball installer), Zend Server bundles its own Apache Web server and cannot use an existing pre-installed Apache server. On Linux (using DEB and RPM packages), Zend Server uses the Apache server which is shipped with the Linux distribution.
