How can I improve turn out, flexibility of feet and ballet leg extensions?
Don’t overwork your legs, flexibility is gained over time. Do a 10 min warm up, then do basic stretches (don’t push yourself too much) e.g head to knee with flexed, then pointed foot, (hold both for at least 10 seconds) then do various stretches to elongate back muscles (ask your teacher) oversplits is a great way to get splits. Make sure your upper legs are really stretched, and your hip flexors (lunges for these) then do oversplits onto a small pile of books. phew! feet, do crunches, *hard to explain* put your foot flat on the floor and squeeze your toes up, so that you can see the knuckles, but don’t cruch the toes together. Generally remain concious of your arch throughout the day, and do rises.
