How can I improve the quality of my voiceovers in my Viewlet?
There are many ways to improve the quality of “voiceovers” in your Viewlets. First, create a test Viewlet and practice recording your voice several different ways. Speak loud, soft, slow, fast, closer to the microphone, further away from the microphone, etc. Then, each time you record, play it back to yourself and listen to how it sounds. Can you understand what you are saying? Is there any distracting background noise? Does your voice maintain an even tempo and volume during playback? If you are not used to hearing a recording of your own voice, don’t be too critical. Just keep practicing until you feel comfortable with what you hear. Perhaps you can even have a friend or family member listen and give you some feedback. Also, working with a good, quality microphone–one that you are comfortable using–can really help improve your voiceovers..
