How can I improve the power and speed of my Kawasaki Ninja 250R?
I’m guessing you want more power without giving up the 250 because you’re happy with it, but to be honest, your choices are pretty slim. There are a few options such as putting on an aftermarket exhaust system (Muzzy or Two Brothers) and a jet kit, but those HP gains are going to be rather minimal. Frankly, it’s a 250. There isn’t much you can do with it. You could get kind of crazy with the internals of the engine, but then you’re talking a lot of money and have to ask if it’s really worth it. An aftermarket exhaust will run you a few hundred bucks, so ask yourself if you’re better off saving that money and moving up to a 500 or 600cc machine. The Ninja 500 is pretty similar to the 250, so you’d probably be happy with that and you’d have more options for performance increases.
