How can I improve my leads in real estate without expensive advertising?

One very basic first thing is to get business cards with a good photo of you on them – and make it a goal to hand out 10 every day. You don’t need to be picky about who you give them to – could be the checker in the grocery store or a waitress who brings you coffee – or your dentist! Just make sure everyone knows that you’re in real estate sales and that you know the local market inside out. (And make sure you’re making it your business to really know the market!)
