How can I help my 8 month old deal with separation anxiety thats affecting her sleep?

Instead of getting her up when she stirs trying sitting in her room with her, pat or rub her (which ever she prefers) or even just sit with your hand on her so she knows your there. My daughter did the same thing at the exact same age, at this age they are not only going through separation anxiety but also can be teething and having a growth spurt this compounds to a child that finds it hard to sleep and hard to settle. My daughter is 13 months old now and sleeps fine most nights, i spent a few nights in her room for up to an hour sitting on the floor with my hand through her cot just to reassure her that although i wasnt going to pick her up i was there if she needed me. Good luck, it will settle down and wont last forever i know how you feel but in a few months you lwill look back and think “well that wasnt so bad”…..
