How can i help my 4months baby to pass stool i cant bare to see her in pain?
I know it looks nasty to see your baby go threw this pain, you can also try milk of magnesium your doctor may advice that your wee one take this anyways its easy on their stomach and will help move any blockage, also new Born’s have a tendency to get bunged up for a few days then expel it all at once, book an appointment before the weekend just tell the doctor you are concerned they will fit you in. You can also try mashed bananas, or pear because they are high in fibre its a natural way for your baby to go doodie.
my youngest suffered serious constipation used to hold him over a potty of hot water put a hand under each knee so his bottom is at the same kind of level as his feet and let gravity help alot of children choose this kind of position anyway when they are walking can take upto an hour mostly about 5 to 10 mins he used to tear and scream they were that big and solid he used to work so hard just to poo would fall asleep as soon as he had done it 9 times out of 10 sounded like he was giving birth tried fruit juices first with no joy even laxatives only helped a little was breastfeeding so wasn’t the formula and when he went to formula didn’t change and tried different formula’s too grew out of it but broke my heart he is fine now it started at about 4 months went on till about 10 months gradually got better though hope this helps your little one
