How can I have my SecurWeb Suite operate on my home Internet network?
To connect computers on a home network, you need a switch, a multi-port repeater (“hub”) or a router. • Your router must have a system firewall. Please note that firewall applications offer additional protection and functionalities that are not available on system firewalls. • Switches and multi-port repeaters have no system firewalls. • If you are a residential subscriber, you can connect up to three computers onto the same network with the protection offered by your SecurWeb Suite. Separate SecurWeb Suite downloads are required for each computer. • If you are a business customer, you must register computers separately to have SecurWeb Suite protection on each. You determine the number of computers that need to be given protection and separately download software on each.
