How can I get Virtual Drive Manager to work on 64-bit versions of Windows Vista and Windows 7?
Virtual Drive Manager is not officially supported on these platforms but you can get it to work by signing the driver (vdd-x64.sys) distributed with Virtual Drive Manager. Instructions on how to do this can be found on the web. You also have to rename the driver to vdd-x86.sys (overwriting the existing file). Please note that you have to run Virtual Drive Manager in elevated mode as an administrator in order to be able to work with drive types other than floppy/CD/DVD drives.
