How can I get to the japanese gardens in Dublin from Ballybrack?
Actually the Japanese Gardens are in the next county, Kildare. The quickest way to Kildare is by train, or bus from Dublin city centre. You could take the 7 bus from Ballybrack to O’Connell Street, then a 90 bus on the quays to Heuston Station. Or go into Dublin city centre by DART to Connolly station. Busaras is across the road from Connolly, you can get buses to Kildare. Or take a number 90 bus from outside Connolly station to Heuston train station. Bus: Monday/Saturday from Central Bus Station (Busaras) at 9.30 a.m. Return journey from Japanese Gardens – Bus leaves at 3.45 p.m. Sunday from Busaras at 10 a.m. & 12 noon Return journey from Japanese Gardens – Bus leaves at 3 p.m. and 5.30 p.m. The Arrow train runs from Heuston Station, Dublin to Kildare every 35 minutes.
