Actually the Japanese Gardens are in the next county, Kildare. The quickest way to Kildare is by train, or bus from Dublin city centre. You could take the 7 bus from Ballybrack to O’Connell Street, then a 90 bus on the quays to Heuston Station. Or go into Dublin city centre by DART to Connolly station. Busaras is across the road from Connolly, you can get buses to Kildare. Or take a number 90 bus from outside Connolly station to Heuston train station.
