You have not clearly mentioned the place from where you want to come to Tel Aviv. As such, I went to Tel Aviv via flight and it was very convenient. All the arrangements were done by my travel agent; they arranged air tickets and confirmed booking in the well known Boutique hotel in Tel Aviv. Well I will suggest you to go for the flight option only, as it will not consume much time and will be comfortable as well.
