How can I get to Paris from Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport (vice versa)?
Taxi: There are three ways to get to and from Paris CDG airport. The easiest but most expensive way is by taxi. Average times, not including traffic, would be around 1hr, and could cost between 40E-60E. Please note a supplement of 15% applies during evenings, Sundays and public holidays. www.aeroportsdeparis.fr Shuttle: The second easiest way is by shuttle. They operate frequently and have several drop off/pick up points in Paris. You can buy the tickets (1-way / round trip) at the airport. Air France shuttle: www.cars-airfrance.com Airport shuttle: www.adp.fr Public transportation: There is a direct shuttle bus that connects Paris-CDG airport with the Opera district of Paris. Travel time varies between 45-60mins and costs 8.60Euros. www.ratp.fr There is also the metro (subway). The airport is connected to the RER (suburban subway) which then connects to the Paris METRO system once inside Paris. If you don’t have much baggage, this method is possible, but we would recommend against it
