You can purchase the Motorcycle handbook at most bookstores, at Canadian Tire or at any Ministry of Transportation testing office. Study the book until you feel comfortable that you know the answers. Then you go to any MOT testing centre and tell them you want to write the M1 test. It takes about 20 minutes. If you pass, they give you an M1 license which is valid for 90 days and allows you to ride a motorcycle, with restrictions on roads, passengers and time of day. After you’ve had some experience riding, contact them to book your road test. This should be done on or before the 90 days expires. If you pass the road test then you will be issued an M2 license, valid for 18 months. The best way to do your M2 road test is to take an approved motorcycle safety training course.
