how can I get the full tank light on my tricity bendix 310w to reset?

Once the tank on my Tricity Bendix 310w dryer is full and the signal light has come on, I cannot get it to reset even though the tank has been emptied, and so the machine will not come on. Any advice on how to get it working again would be much appreciated.
