How can I get the best results from my Le Creuset wok?
• Allow the wok to heat up slowly by placing it on a medium heat for 5 minutes. • If you are cooking with gas, make sure that the flame does not exceed the base of the wok. • If cooking on an electric hot plate, use the largest trivet on the stove and pre-heat on 1/3 of the power. Use 3/4 power during cooking. • Any meat/vegetables should be no larger than your little finger. Toss a small amount of oil through the meat before cooking. • Brown meat pieces 300g at a time. Remove from the wok and then repeat. Allow the meat to rest after browning off. Then cook harder vegetables followed by softer ones. • Finish by adding rested meat and seasoning. • Put the noodles into the wok only after taking it off the gas or element. The residual heat will cook the noodles without causing them to stick. RE-COATING OF Le Creuset Can I get my Le Creuset recoated?
