How can i get stright hair after a bad perm?
My hair is permed also and I love it, but my hairdresser won’t perm it again yet because if the perm solution gets on the already permed hair it will straighten it. Just be careful because it can make your hair brittle and straw-like. I’d just give it some time to relax and leave it alone. Use a heavy conditioner. That should help make less puffy. Good luck!
You can get a reverse perm. All it really is is perm solution. Make sure it’s made of Ammonium Thioglycolate, and not Sodium Hydroxide. If you get it done at a salon, they will know this. I would recommend you go to a salon, because it will do some damage to your hair, and you want to keep the damage to a minimum. IF you insist on doing it at home, you could use a regular perm solution. Instead of using the rods, you would put the solution in your hair and CONTINUALLY comb your hair strait throughout the processing time (probably around 20 minutes). Do the same with your neutralizer, continually combing your hair into a strait position. Hope that HelpS!
