A. In the UK we scrap around 30 million tyres annually. The vast majority of these tyres are responsibly dealt with under the Responsible Recycler Scheme operated by the Tyre Recovery Association. However some tyres are still illegally dumped and these can be removed at a cost through members of the Responsible Recycler Scheme details on the TRA website www.tyrerecovery.org.
