How can I get rid of the tiny sugarants I get im my kitchen every year?
My wife and I used to live in FL and we got these every year. We tried everything: bait, traps, terro, mint, tarragon, parsley (just kidding on some of these) and nothing worked. So… we called an exterminator. They came out and looked at the house, the ants, our patio, and our lawn. They took the cat and the dog into consideration, then delivered the news: there are pet-safe professional chemicals they can use, mainly because sprays and fogs won’t work on sugar ants and bighead ants (we had both, who knew, they look similar). Then he dropped a bomb: the ants may have a colony in our walls, but if so, it’s just a side-nest. The main nest for the ants is under the front lawn, outside! The solution: keep a cleaner kitchen; dry, pet-safe chemicals professionally applied to the lawn, and out outside patio, and a different pet-safe checmical indoors around the entry points. That got rid of them for good, never had another problem again. The catch is, the exterminator had to keep coming bac
