How can I get rid of the birds in virtual villagers 2, the lost children?
It’s not exactly getting rid of the birds but deterring them from eating your crops. This is puzzle 3 and the solution is as follows (courtesy of the Last Day of Work forums): “Puzzle 3 is a scarecrow that an adept farmer can construct in order to protect the crops from the birds. After you complete the dam (and have a farm), drag an adept or master farmer to the twisted pieces of wood and vines that are located in the northern portion of the village. The scarecrow requires two trips to complete, so make sure that you finish the construction, or your crops will not be protected.” The second link below gives you a map to show you exactly where the wood and vines are located if you have any problems.
