How can i get rid of exam stress?
Ah the eternal question. I had the worst week ever in June- I had 7 exams over 4 days and they were all either 3rd or 4th year undergrad physics ones! During that time I found I couldn’t breathe properly, I kept trying to take a deep breath and not being able to. Really worried me so I phoned the NHS helpline and the doctor told me I was probably just stressed so I was told to be strict with myself about the time I revised and the time I had off. If I had scheduled an hour to eat dinner and watch a tv episode then that had to be entirely what I did- no sitting around with a book whilst eating and watching tv because then you don’t revise properly or relax properly. She also told me to lay off the caffeine- no more coffee and tea for me! I mostly drank cammomile tea that week because it is known to have a soothing effect. In addition to those little tips I did an internet search and found a little MP3 file on a relaxation techniques website. I would link you but I think it’s disappeared
