How can I get Nucleo Pro to use all the RAM in my machine if After Effects can ?
Although After Effects is a 32-bit application and is limited to the amount of memory that it can access (2 GB on 32-bit Windows, 3 GB on Mac OS X and 4 GB on 64-bit Windows) Nucleo Pro uses several processes to render and preview. Each of these processes can access up to those limits. Provided the operating system can access more memory Nucleo Pro will be able to use it. In the case of Windows we suggest using the 64-bit version if you need to access more than 4 GB of RAM. In a 32-bit Windows system PCI Express cards may prevent the access of a portion of the physical memory. See Microsoft’s knowledgebase for articles refering to PCI express (ie. article 929605).
