How can I get my 12 month old baby to eat solid food?
My 14 month old breastfed baby is the same but she has suffered reflux from newborn and so she will only take very small amounts, a teaspoon or so but that is few and far between. This is my fourth child and the hardest one I’ve had for weaning. I think bottle fed baby’s tend to be easier to wean as breastfed babies tend to love the closeness of the feeding in my opinion. I have only bottle fed one of mine but he was far easier to wean. I would talk to your health visitor but I think as they told me if your baby is putting on weight and doing everything they should not to worry too much they may recommend a multivitamin, but again if you are worried talk to your GP. I think it is a matter of keep trying and just offer what you are eating at mealtimes. I know exactly how you feel though.
