How Can I Get Ink Out Of Clothes That Have Gone Through The Dryer?

I know everybody says that hair spray is the thing to use, but what makes hair spray work is the ingredient alcohol. My darling child decided to try out a ball point pen and scribbled all over a vinyl chair years ago. I was so mad at him as I thought the chair was ruined for good. I tried the alcohol and it worked like a charm, chair good as new. Once I left my ball point pen in a jacket pocket and in the wash it did its deed all over the laundry. I soaked each piece in alcohol and every bit of ink came out. I don’t remember what the clothes were, polyester and cotton I think, but it worked. Try it. You might also try paint thinner, if the alcohol doesn’t work. Good luck.
