Well, first of all you are going to need a projector of some kind to enlarge designs that big and a jig saw to cut them out. It’s hard cutting out big things like this! You can go to any craft store and buy painting pattern books and magazines; especially cutesy, seasonal designs! Those patterns are designed and copyrighted to do just as you are wanting; to handpaint them and use them in the way that you are suggesting. But they won’t be large enough to put right on the wood; you will have to enlarge them alot.
