How can I get courses I took at another university to count for specific History requirements at UH?
You will need to fill out a General Petition form, which you can download from the UH website or pick up from the History Advisor in AH527. Your petition must be approved at the Department, College, and University levels. For the greatest likelihood of success, provide as much supporting documentation as you can. A course description and syllabus are usually necessary for approval. Turn in your petition and supporting documentation to the History Advisor.
