How can I get a work permit for the Isle of Man?
Anyone can live there, you don’t need to apply for residency, but to get a work permit you first of all need an offer of a job somewhere. Work permits on the IOM are only issued once you have the offer of a specific job, and believe me its quite tough to get one of those if you’re not a native Manx person. Also bear in mind that its scarily expensive to live there. Property isn’t too badly priced but the cost of everything you buy is horrendous – London prices and then some.
