1. Under the My Institution Tab in Bb you can choose Personal Information>Set Visual Text Box Editor Options>Choose Unavailable and Click on Submit. 2. Alternately, you can add the Blackboard site to the Trusted Sites zone (see handout). 3. Also, check the ActiveX setting in Internet Explorer, from the menu bar choose Tools>Internet Options. Click on the Security Tab. Make sure the zone selected is Internet. Click on the Custom Level button and scroll until you locate the setting Run ActiveX Controls and Plugins. Set to enable. Click on OK twice to exit open windows.
