How can I get a list of all stocks, including penny stocks, with prices and quarterly report date?
Easier for the non penny stocks, but the penny stocks are harder since they will more often adjust their dates. Sites like finance.yahoo.com will tell you who is reporting based on a daily schedule: http://biz.yahoo.com/research/earncal/today.html But they can’t tell you reliably for more than 30-60 days out since the reports just haven’t been scheduled yet, example AT&T hasn’t scheduled their earnings release date for the 2nd quarter of 2009 because they just don’t know yet. They are required to report their earnings within a period of time after the end of the quarter, but the rules vary and a company can file for an extension despite the deleterious and un-nerving effect it will have on investor confidence and their stock price. Example, look at the Feb 4th, 2009 calendar of earnings releases and you’ll see about 10 companies planning on releasing their results. But, look at the Feb 6th, 2008 earnings calendar and about 100 companies released their numbers. Both dates are Wednesdays
