How can I get a good deal on the Eurostar to Paris?
As with getting a cheaper deal on air travel, the key to a bargain is to be flexible. Travelling on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday is usually more expensive than travelling any other day of the week, so you’ll pay more if you have your heart set on the weekend. You will also save money if you commit to travelling at certain hours of the day or certain days of the week. The cheapest travel is between 11am and 3pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. You will also get a discount if you have a Eurailpass, a Europass or a BritRail Pass. Booking online will also save you some money. If you have a working knowledge of French, remember to compare the prices on the French version of the Eurostar website with the prices on the British version, as occasionally the exchange rate makes the French version slightly cheaper.
