You must make a written request to the Council by completing the request form. The request form can be downloaded from the panel on the top right hand side of this page. The certificate will be issued within 10 working days. A Certificate of Current Professional Status (CCPS) is issued to professionals who are currently registered with the GDC and who wish to register in another country to practise their profession. This certificate was previously known as a Certificate of Good Standing (CGS). If you were previously registered with the GDC or are on temporary registration with the GDC you will be issued with a letter of good standing. To request a letter of good standing please also download and complete the request form from the panel on the top right hand side of this page.
