depending on the county you would have to meet the age requirement which in most states its 21 and depending on their requirements some police departments require at least 60 hours of college credit and or law degree. In order to be selected for the training academy you must meet all the requirements pass the written, physical exams and training camp in order to be hired as a police officer.
