u can not format c : drive by right click u have to put bootable cd and need to to next process

You can’t format the C: drive. Because, generally the c drive is managing all system files, that is your operating system are going to well by this drive. I think you are totally remove your current os. So, first you are insert your windows os cd, then you restart your computer, press F8 for setup. After you choose windows setup freshly from the options and not to choose the other repair or quit options. Then, you will see the partitioning of your all drives, then you select or delete your any drives. After, you freshly install the OS on the C: drive. Note: before reinstall, you must backup your very important files or folders to other drives or separate cds.
