How Can I Fix My Ibook G3 Which Will Not Power Up?
Take out the battery and unplug the power adapter. Wait about a minute, then put the battery back in and plug the power plug in. Wait about 10 seconds, then push the power button and immediately hold down the OPTION, APPLE, P and R keys (in that order–hold down the OPTION key, keep it down while you hold down the APPLE key, keep it down, and so on until all four are being held down). Do this as quickly as you can (a few seconds) and keep holding the keys down. You will hear the startup chime once, keep holding, twice, keep holding, and three times. Right after the 3rd chime, let go of all the keys and let it start up. You will most likely have to reset the date and time because they will have been reset.
