How can I fix my Haier XQJ50-31 portable washing machine?
How do I stop my Haier XQJ50-31 from draining while it is filling? The machine was set for large load, heavy duty wash. After about 30 or so minutes, the machine beeped. There was an error sign, which I thought was an imbalance (didn’t notice what the error number was). I reset the clothes and restarted the machine. I realized the machine was set at 48 minutes (just 3 minutes had elapsed into the full 51 minute cycle). Although the machine was filling, 48 minutes stayed on the digital display and water drained as quickly as it went in. I tried turning off the machine for awhile. The problem remained the same. After removing all the clothes, I set the machine for a different time washing. The water stayed in, and all seemed well. Hoping it was a fluke, I went back and reset to the initial setting, and water drained out again. I pulled off the drain hose (it is made to come of) and put it back on.
