Also, make sure that those devices are not muted by checking the sound properties in the Control Panel. If that isn’t the case: You should go to your manufacturer’s website to download the drivers. HP: http://www.hp.com/#Support Dell: http://support.dell.com (You may have to look it up) Uninstall the old drivers: Right click on “My Computer”–>select “Properties” Go to the “Hardware” tab and click on “Device Manager” Under the item “Sound, Video, and Game Controllers”, right click and uninstall any drivers that say “Audio” in them or similar. Install the new drivers and reboot.
