You really need to get a leather technician in to repair a tear if it has gone all the way through the leather. The back of the leather needs supporting and it may need a filler to fill in any damage. If it needs glueing it needs a special leather glue which is flexible. It will then need recolouring to match otherwise you will always be able to see it. DO NOT use super glue as it is not flexible and will crack. If you are in the UK contact LTT as they have trained technicians who can do this type of work.
