How can I find out which previews ran with a certain movie?
Placing the previews before a movie is the theater’s job. I used to work at a movie theater, and the managers or sometimes the projectionist (whoever puts together the film) gets to pick what films get to go onto the film. Sometimes, specific trailers are enforced to be on certain films by the studio. For example, when my theater got Transformers, they had to put a Cloverfield trailer before it, or with I Am Legend, they had to put a trailer for The Dark Knight before it. That only happens with big summer movies though. With digital projectors though, the movies will sometimes have trailers already put before the films, but that probably wasn’t the case with Atonement. I hope this helps, sorry!
